Bible Study - Undeserved Kindness
Using our gift to benefit others. As chosen members of God's kingdom, we must use our gifts to further expand it.

To most of the unbelieving world, Christianity is probably considered as just another ‘option’ in the ever growing ‘menu’ of religions in the world today and at first glance it may appear to be just as much a ‘fad’ as all the others. But what each and every Christian possesses is the greatest gift ever given.

No other feat that man has ever thought up or achieved can even come close to what Jesus did for us at Calvary. This short bible study focuses on what we actually have as Christians and what is required of us to enrich our Christian walk. There are a few things that we need to realise in order to grow as Christians, as already mentioned, salvation is a gift from God and not something that can be earned or bought (Rom. 11 v 6) .

As chosen members of God’s kingdom, we must use these gifts to further expand it. Our desire to preach the gospel should come form our love of the unbelieving world, to save as many people as is possible, bearing in mind that failing to hold on to the gift that we have been so graciously given, may result in it being taken from us and entrusted to others(Rom. 11 v 17-22). In our modern society, there is an unspoken ‘creed’ that man must possess knowledge of all he can, but the bible tells us that we will not understand all things (Rom. 11 v 33-35), nor should we spend our time attempting to. Instead, let us use what time we have been given to do the Lord’s will and in doing so rejoice that you have been chosen by the Creator.

Christianity offers many things that no other religion offers. For example, our sins are forgiven by repentance, not by works. This concludes this short bible study; I trust that the reader will question within him/herself what has been written here. Let us go out and shine ever brighter for our saviour today.

God Bless You
