I cannot imagine how many times I must have missed an opportunity to bless someone, to lend an ear, to listen to them or to share the love of Jesus with them because I was too busy doing something else. Yet, the body of Christ is supposed to be the salt of the earth. |
This extract from Isaiah reminds me of that time when I thought I was following God's commands for my life, but in actual fact, I wasn't doing the will of God at all - I was simply pursuing my own desires. |

If I do get sad sometimes or I miss my wife or family members hundreds or even thousands of miles away, I know that there is only one place where I need to draw my strength from and only one place where true joy lies, and that is in Jesus Christ and in The Word of God. |
