Faith Statement KTTK
KeyToTheKingdom's statement of belief. You may also want to read about us.

  • We believe that the Bible, consisting of Old and New Testaments only, is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, is inerrant in the original manuscripts, and is the infallible and authoritative Word of God and is the final word in the rule of faith and life for Christians.

  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the universal fall of man through Adam who, created in the image of God was tempted by Satan and fell thus imputing sin to all mankind.

  • We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal and visible return in power and glory

  • We believe that salvation consists in the remission of sins, the imputation of the righteousness of Christ and the gift of eternal life received by faith alone apart from works and that for the salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling we are enabled to live a godly life.

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

  • We believe that the Church, known as the Body of Christ, consists of only those who are born again by the Spirit of God and for whom Jesus Christ makes intercession in heaven and for whom He will come again.

  • We believe in the instruction of Christ enjoining the Church to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all mankind, baptizing them and making them disciples.

  • We believe in the physical and personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ in glory.

Quotes

The branch of the vine does not worry, and toil, and rush here to seek for sunshine, and there to find rain. No; it rests in union and communion with the vine; and at the right time, and in the right way, is the right fruit found on it. Let us so abide in the Lord Jesus.
James Hudson Taylor
